Ninth Annual Ohio Mass Spectrometry Symposium
April 16, 2012
Quest Conference
Center Columbus, OH

The Ohio Mass Spectrometry Consortium is pleased to announce its ninth annual symposium. The location of this year’s symposium is the Quest Conference Center in Columbus, OH. As in previous years, the purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for academic and industrial researchers in the Ohio Valley region to present their work, share information, discuss research problems with fellow colleagues and form new collaborations in the field of mass spectrometry. The conference format is similar to an ASMS Sanibel or Asilomar Conferences. We strongly encourage students to submit abstracts to present their work. The symposium provides an excellent opportunity to showcase recent work in a small, collegial environment before any presentations at large national meetings.

"We think big about really small stuff!"

Welcome to the CCIC Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Facility at OSU. We hope you will find that we can meet your research needs as we offer a wide range of services. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the wide range of experiments we can perform.

The mandate of the CCIC Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Facility is to provide state-of-the-art instrumentation to The Ohio State University and the surrounding research community. The nature of our laboratory allows for both routine analyses for faculty who cannot afford nor desire the purchase of their own mass spectrometry instrumentation and provides collaborative research requiring advanced experiments by working closely in a true collaborative effort between faculty, students and staff.

The Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Facility at CCIC is an interdisciplinary unit, servicing faculty from the colleges of Biological Sciences, Education and Human Ecology, Engineering, Food, Agriculture & Environmental Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine just to name a few. CCIC also serves scientists from other universities and industry within and outside of Ohio.

PLEASE NOTE: the Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics Facility CANNOT ACCEPT RADIOACTIVE or HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
